FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING

Are the foods you are choosing to eat making you feel worse?

If you’re experiencing unexplained symptoms, it might be worth considering food sensitivity testing. Symptoms like bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, skin rashes, fatigue, joint pain, or brain fog could potentially be linked to food sensitivities. By identifying trigger foods through testing, you can make informed dietary changes, potentially relieving your symptoms and improving your overall well-being. It’s always good to explore all possibilities and find personalized solutions for a healthier you!

KBMO Diagnostics

We have partnered with KBMO Diagnostics due to their advanced testing methods and comprehensive analysis. They specialize in assessing food sensitivities, evaluating immune responses, and identifying hidden triggers for chronic conditions. Their tests help individuals understand underlying factors contributing to their health issues and guide personalized treatment strategies.

How the Immune System is Tested for Dietary Food Reactions

IgG

IgG reactions to food suggest delayed immune responses that may contribute to symptoms like inflammation, digestive issues, and chronic conditions. Knowing this information helps individuals identify and eliminate trigger foods, leading to personalized dietary changes that can improve their overall quality of life.

Immune Complexes

Immune complex reactions to food refer to the formation of complexes between antibodies and food antigens. Identifying these reactions helps individuals understand how certain foods may trigger immune responses, enabling them to make informed dietary choices that can alleviate symptoms, improve digestion, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Evaluating the Integrity of the Gut Barrier Function

Candida

The presence of Candida as an IgG or IgA reaction suggests an immune response to this yeast. It can signify an imbalance in gut microbiota and compromised gut barrier integrity, leading to increased intestinal permeability and potential health issues like inflammation, digestive disturbances, and susceptibility to infections.

Zonulin

The presence of zonulin indicates increased intestinal permeability or “leaky gut.” This can lead to the passage of toxins, undigested food particles, and bacteria into the bloodstream, triggering inflammation, autoimmune responses, digestive disorders, and contributing to various health issues simply from the foods you eat.

Occludin

Occludin is a protein involved in maintaining the integrity of tight junctions between cells in the intestinal lining. Its proper functioning ensures a healthy gut barrier, preventing the entry of harmful substances into the bloodstream and protecting against inflammation, autoimmune reactions, and digestive disorders.

LPS

The presence of lipopolysaccharides (LPS) indicates the presence of bacterial endotoxins originating from the gut. Elevated LPS levels can lead to systemic inflammation, immune dysfunction, and increased risk of chronic conditions, including metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and autoimmune disorders.
